We are proud of the praise given to us by CEO’s of other organizations.
I have had the privilege of knowing Tyler over the past few years as he has transitioned his professional practice.I've witnessed first-hand his business-minded endurance, passion for his craft, and devotion to character. He is highly creative, collaborative, and dedicated. I have no hesitations stating that he is a true entrepreneur with a tenacious spirit and will.As he embarks on his new venture, I am confident that he will focus all these strengths to achieve well-earned success.
the thing I want people to know about Tyler. He's that rare entrepreneur who not only has a great vision, but more importantly, he knows how to make things happen! In my world, I routinely meet people with great ideas but they either never get things off the ground or they stall out pretty quickly. Not Tyler! I've seen the results of his creative energy and leadership skills.I've walked the halls of his businesses with hundreds of employees, a buzz in the air, a performing culture, and I've even seen the financial results. All very impressive!I've known Tyler for several years and I've met dozens if not hundreds of business owners along the way. He's up there at the top of my list of folks I always enjoy being with. But what's really cool is that I always walk away better and smarter than I was before.
Tyler Long is an incredible person. He is both creative and intelligent.Combine those traits with his integrity and you have a recipe for results and success. He is a fun, caring person that adds to the pleasure of working with him.”
Coach Ken Woods
I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Tyler Long for the last 5 yrs. He hired me as his Corporate Chaplain at his recent company called Access Business Solutions.I would like to say it was the most rewarding experience of my life. Mr. Long is a man of high integrity; high moral character; and above all he's a great leader. As a CEO he possesses people skills that far surpass anyone I have met in my life. His commitment to excellence is what truly makes him an incredible man.He makes you feel special everyday you are in his presence. If genius had a brother it would be Mr. Long.In closing, Mr. Long would be the one that I choose to do my eulogy when I take my last breath on earth, because I know in my heart that he is my friend.
"Tyler is a gifted marketer, entrepreneur, and leader. His attitude of caring, determination, and passion are inspirational to those he leads and his community of peers. His reputation for innovation and building companies is most impressive, having been recognized as the #1 Entrepreneur of the Year by Catalyst Magazine in 2008; the #2 Company and Pinnacle Award by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce in 2008; and #10 Ranking on the ABC's List of Atlanta's 100 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in 2007. If you are seeking a more creative approach to marketing your products or services, Tyler is someone you need to be talking with. His insight, discernment, and confidence to 'tell it like it is', is far more valuable than others who merely tell you what you want to hear.I highly recommend his approach and thoroughness in helping you to "change the game"!”
I have had the privilege of knowing Tyler Long for several years now. Tyler is not only a professional and talented business man, but a good friend as well.Tyler brings an "outside the box" way of thinking that anyone can benefit from. Tyler'’s ideas and advice have helped me in many ways over the years to enhance my business goals and have helped me from a personal nature to become a better rounded person.I would highly recommend Tyler and his expertise to anyone that is looking for ways to accomplish better results, utilize their talents, as well as improve their overall company objectives. I have leaned on Tyler’s talents in the past, and will continue to do so both now and in the future.
Tyler and I worked together for almost 2 1/2 years. This period was marked by dynamic growth and many challenges surrounding the infrastructure, financing, and strategy of the companies. One business was in the merchant services field while the other business centered on direct mail/advertising and the sale of educational products.Tyler is a very bright, energetic, and dynamic entrepreneur. His constant positive attitude and enthusiasm were instrumental in bringing in successively more mature and experienced talent”.
We are proud of the praise and encouragement given to us from valued employees over the years.
A great poem full of truth...sent as a reminder that it's who we are, not what we accomplish that really matters.
“When things go wrong
as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re
trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low
and the debts are high
And you want to smile,
but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing
you down a bit,
Rest if you must,
but don’t’ you quit.
Life is queer with its
twists and turns,
As every one of us
Soon many a failure turns about
When he might have won
had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though
the pace seems slow—
You may succeed
with another blow,
Success is failure
turned inside out—
The silver tint of
the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell
how close you are,
It may be near when
it seems so far;
So stick to the fight
when you'’re hardest hit—
It’s when things seem worst
that you must not quit.”
We love you for “you”, not for what you’ve done!
I love this reminder of what Christmas is all about.
Christmas is a reminder for us to believe in the Creator. We recognize this holiday as a time to reflect and comfort those around us. What we go through and all we are is because of who HE is.Our father sent his son to save us so that we could be with Him forever and this is the only reason for the season. We should embrace those around us and be joyous. You have accomplished so much this year Tyler! As Christmas comes and the New Year approaches, please think about all the good that God has placed in your life and the good that you have done for others. You are the light of this company and you are a friend to many. That was far from an affirmation. We look at you and see a refreshing, nice, good looking guy that’s smart and a blessing to everyone with his kind words and good spirit. Please continue to be that person that we have valued so much and continue to impress me with the unbelievable insight that it takes to turn a company around. We will always be in aw when we try to understand your strength, influence and caring heart.Merry Christmas to you and your family because this Christmas is a Christmas to remember.
Love, D. Sims
A quick reminder that employees grow by modeling after their managers.
I just want to tell you that for the last three years I have really enjoyed working for you and your company.I have learned so much in regards to management skills. Skills from you, Rodney, and all of the other managers.I also really appreciate all of your hard work that you have done to keep this business open and I’m going to continue to make sure I assist you in doing so.Well Tyler continue to keep saying your prayers and remember if you put it in God’s hands it will be okay. Merry X-mas and a happy new year!
A reminder that change is inevitable but growth is optional...we choose growth.
We have come so far as a company and hard times are expected but certainly the very last thing that I would expect to stop us is a simple idea from an awesome person, and that’s what started this company. Faith, dedication, loyalty, diligence, and prayer is what has grown it and what will be required to keep it. We have that as well as hope.Romans 12:11 discusses not being slothful in business and being a servant in spirit. Serving the Lord, I believe next year will open new doors for us, new opportunities and new levels of success. We have a few reps that haven’t been around that long but hey have some awesome ideas for change and I have encouraged them to put it in the suggestion box because you always welcome ideas.I appreciate you and I admire you and I will not give up because I know you won’t.
From a top leader reminding us that loyalty matters.
I know that you are going through a lot right now and I simply want you to know that yiou are not alone. I want you to know that I am 110% committed to you and doing whatever I can and have to do in order to get things turned around. Knowing you has truly been one of the highlights of my life and I will forever cherish the experiences we’ve had and I look forward to having many more. I appreciate how, through all of your success, you have always remained just a normal guy.You have given opportunity to SO MANY who probably would have had doors closed to them in most organizations. Your generosity in sponsoring the vacations has opened up the world to a lot of people whose view was limited to what was inside the perimeter.Tyler, please know that no matter what happens, you have not failed or lost; you have been and will be the champion for so many people for years to come.
A reminder that the development of any culture begins at the top.
I would like to take this time to say Thank You. I have been employed by your company since October 2007 and it was my first experience at working at a call center. It has been a truly great experience. I really enjoy what I do here and the people I work with are great. The management team has been very helpful and they make it a pleasure coming to work. I’m sure that what comes from them is a direct result of you. Ever heard the saying “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”? Well there it is (smile).I have worked other jobs and never really felt that what I did was appreciated. You are continually showing me and others that you do appreciate what we do (e.g. tickets to Braves games, George Michael, trips to Jamaica, etc. just to name a few).Always remember that most of us here want to be successful and in return we want our company to be a success. Again Tyler thanks for all you do.Tyler I want to wish you and your family a very, very Merry Christmas and our company a very prosperous New Year!
Words of encouragement from the one who knows me best that serves as a great reminder of the big picture.
Well we made it through another year. And what a year! I am sure you will remember this year as being full of ups and downs. You have experienced these highs and lows in both your professional and personal lives. But throughout it all, you have tried so hard to stay focused, righteous, and Godly. Even if it wasn’t the case right away, you would work towards that and I would see progress daily until you were able to think clearly enough to know exactly what you need to do to get where you need to go. It’s inspiring to watch!I have seen you face demons and your fears head on and I am so very proud of how far you have come.I have learned so much from you during the last two years. I am always watching and learning. Thank you. One thing I hope and pray that you work on in the upcoming year is trying not to carry everyone’s burdens on your shoulders. That’s God’s job, not yours. You must take care of yourself first and continue to be kind and to be a leader and a teacher. Everything else will fall into place. If you don’t take care of yourself, you cannot be the effective tool that God intends for you to be. Really think about that. I want you to have peace. I don’t think you have ever had peace. God wants you to have peace also.John 14:27-28 - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. You have heard me say to you “I am going away and coming back to you. If you loved me you would rejoice because I said I am going to the Father, for my Father is greater than I”. You must put everything in God’s hands and let it go. Just stand and let Him work His magic! It’s a sight to see! I know because I have seen Him work His magic on me. I don’t know what is going to happen with the business, my concern is you. But I know whatever happens, it will happen because it’s supposed to happen. Neither of us has any control over what happens. It is His will. Find comfort in that. I do. We all do.Proverbs 3:1-6 – My son, do not forget my law but let your heart keep my commands. For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on a tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean no on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.I love you Tyler. God bless you and your family.
The little things we do for others can make all the difference. Hello Mr. Long, I first would like to thank you for all that you do for everyone here at Access. I also would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work for a fabulous company. You are a tremendous person and I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate everything you do. I’ve been working for the company a little over 3 years now and I’ve witnessed the company’s growth in that time span.I remember I brought a friend with me to one of the hockey games at Phillips Arena and I explained to her who you were and introduced her to you. You greeted us both and you told her how proud you were of me.You may not know it but that made me feel very good and appreciated. She was blown away by that statement and I can say that I am very proud to be working for such a great person.I just wanted to let you know how the little things that you do can mean so much to someone. I hope you and your family are having a fantastic holiday season. Once again, I want to thank you for all that you do. Thanks again,
A loving reminder that it's important to be consistent regardless of circumstances.
It’s a true honor to take a few moments and share with you during this Christmas season. I want to tell you how much I admire you and appreciate all you do and have done for me and my family.Maybe things have you a bit down right now, but I hope you know all the things you have done for so many are never forgotten. And, I hope you find some comfort in knowing that all your good deeds have amassed a great army to stand beside you. I hope you know that whatever happens in life or business you can always count on me to be at your right hand.I have watched you over the last year and a half as an employee and saw you operate in good times and times that weren’t so good. And what I noticed was how you handle both with such dignity.David O. Mckay wrote: "I'’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day; I'’d rather have one walk beside me than merely point the way."Your kindness, generosity, leadership and dignity that I learn from is best described in Psalms.Even in darkness, light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man.Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is secure; he will have no fear; in the end he will see his desire on his adversaries. He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn [dignigty] will be lifted high in honor. –Psalm 112: 4-5, 7-9 Thanks for all you do,
A reminder that our heart should remain pure regardless of what we are going through.
First off, let me start by saying THANK YOU! You will never understand how much you do or how much you mean to so many individuals. You are an Angel here on earth and I really meant that.It is so hard to find individuals these days that care about others the way that you do, you will always be blessed because you put others before yourself.I am very appreciative to be a part of an organization that you started with your bare hands, it not only helps me to realize the goodness that’s still left in the world, but it helped me to realize that the more you have the more you should do for others.I know that at times we all have bumps in the road and feel as though things aren’t working out, but that’s all part of the enemies plan. Don’t ever give up on anything that you have set in place already, you just have to ride it out and rise from the negativity and allow all of your obstacles to make you that much stronger than you are now.Greatness follows you Tyler, and I feel as though you should embrace that and know that sometimes you have to leave some people behind in order to move to the next level that you are destined for.All of the good that you do for others will always outweigh the bad, so you always have to keep your head up and know that because you do everything from the heart that everything else will fall in place; maybe not the way you intend, but eh way that GOD has it mapped out for you.You always go above and beyond and you have a genuine love for people, even when you think no one understands you or what you’re going through, just stop and think about all of the families that you help provide for financially, even medically by providing benefits, etc. and that’s not even the half of it.I do appreciate you so much because I as a single mother am able to provide for my son and keep a roof over our head because of you and that means so much to me.You are such a blessing to so many people, you have no idea, even when I am long gone from here you will always be someone I keep in my prayers because you are heaven sent and trust me when I say, there is NOT a day that goes by that you are ever taken for granted!!!
Never underestimate the power of faith in facing our fears.
Almost 2 years ago I attended an interview here, Exam Services, as it was called then, by invitation. I honestly didn’t know how I would get here, consistently, if I was in fact hired, yet I had a hunger in my eyes and a hope in my heart.I did walk out hired, happy and afraid all at the same time. The hired part is self explanatory, the happy as well, yet I was afraid at that point that I would not be able to get to work. With a little faith, and a lot of people that God put in place to help, I did make it to work, every day, early, just as hired, happy , and honestly still a little fearful. Yet deep down, something told me, God had gotten me this far and obviously wasn’t ready to give up on my, just yet.It did concern me going to a nightshift, however. Would there be enough customers calling at night to make my quota? What would happen if my ride couldn’t come to get me? Would I be stuck in Norcross with no means of returning home? God answered those questions when He, time and time again, gave me the strength and tenacity to become 1st in the call center many times over and He honestly never left me without a way home. Now there have been a couple close calls.I remember one night sitting in your parking lot; everyone including the security guard had left for the night. This was back when the benches were outside where our entrance is. I sat there, my ride canceled, and my foolish pride did not allow me to ask a stranger for a ride. At this point I was Captain of the Phillies and I did not want my Coach or my GM for that matter thinking I had a challenge getting to work, especially when I didn’t. Getting home was often the challenge!Tired, cold, and frustrated, I walked to the gas station to call my wife and let her know I was alright. Once again, God sent an angel, in the form of a co-worker, Mrs. Cynthia Woodcox. Cynthia pulled up and asked me “Where are you going, baby?” Once again, I was saved.Tyler, I sit here humbled, almost 2 years later, as Coach of your Utah Jazz, and realize that man has a plan, and God has a plan, and that God’s plan is much better. I learned that one should only fear God, since no obstacle is greater than HIS ability to see you past. I thank Him for His plan. I also thank Him for inspiring you with His plan, and the opportunities that you have created for me, my family, and countless others. What is interesting is that I am not special. Testing Authority has been the vehicle to free many from the shackles of so many previous situations. You are quite blessed to be able to see, in your lifetime, that you have helped to bless so many others. That being said, regardless to the final chapter, you have aided each and every face that has ever walked through these doors and left them with hope. Thank God. Thank you. I wish you and your family all the blessings that you so obviously deserve.
These comments reflect our mission and proves that if you help enough other people get what they want, you can have everything you want.
Thank you. Thank you for your vision for this company. Because of you I was able to by my 1st home. Because of you I’m able to buy my daughter what she wants for Christmas this year.I have been with the company for 2 years now and I have loved every minute of it. This is also the first time I have been able to stand on my own two feet financially and not had to ask anyone for help. It’s a great feeling to not have to depend on anyone for anything. I know right now times are really hard for a lot of people with all the layoffs and job cuts and I truly feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work for an amazing company like this and especially right now because a lot of people do not even have jobs.Once again Tyler, I just want to say thank you for all you do and try your hardest to continue to do for this great company called Access. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and you family and may you continue to be blessed.
You never know how a simple word of encouragement can make such a big difference in someone else.
I was just sitting here thinking about what I wanted to get you for Christmas, but I just could not come up with anything so the best think I could think of was to write you a letter to let you know how much I appreciate you.I started with this company on 9-7-07 and this has been the best experience I have had. I have met so many people, and you be the most positive person I have met in a long time.I know right now you are going through a very difficult time, but keep your head up. Things will be alright. I say a prayer for you every night because you are trying so hard to make everyone happy but do not forget about self.I have all the faith that everything will be okay. Tyler I did not know that you knew who I was until you spoke to me at your birthday party and you told me to keep up the good spirits and you that you appreciated me.You don’t know how good you made me feel. With everything that you are going through, you took the time to tell me that you appreciated me. You are so special to me. God bless you.
This employee's comments sum up the very essence of what we are trying to build...that a company is a collection of individuals adn that attending to the building of individuals is the greatest way to build a company.
There are not enough words that can express my deepest gratitude towards you. You are by far one of the greatest CEO’s I have ever met in all my years of working.Your love and kindness towards your employees is unbelievable. So many times CEO’s can get so caught up in themselves and their own problems that they forget the very people who made it happen for them. One thing I can say is that you definitely don’t fall in that category. You are the on in my opinion that made working for your company such a joy.Through it all, there was never a moment when I didn’t want to be here. I have enjoyed every moment of working for your company. The one thing that I most admire you for is your love for our Father. I want you to always remember that at the end of the day it is about building up the kingdom of God. You are able to stand in the midst of the storm because of His grace and mercy. You have favor over your life which means greatness surrounds you. People may not understand you nor understand choices you make. At the end of the day the only think that really matters is being obedient to God. You are destined for great things. But with that destiny comes great challenges. Keep the faith and never stop praying, praising, and most of all being a blessing to others.I will continue to keep you lifted up in prayer. You are still the inspiration to my book and I will definitely contact you when I am ready to begin working on it. I love you very much ad thank you for everything.
Encouragement letters like this remind us that struggles are part of life and that how we face them reveals our true character.
Dear Mr. Long,
The holidays are approaching, but most importantly a New Year is also approaching as well and I would like to say to you Tyler first and foremost…thank you for being you.A lot of things in life we as people take for granted because it’s there and there have been a lot of things that you have done for the company and still dong that has been a great asset to your company that I personally appreciate myself.I just want you to know to keep your head up and by your faith in Him know that the best is yet to come. This chapter soon shall pass.Sometimes in life we have to struggle to progress and that’s to that when we do struggle and come out on top, we can do two things, 1) Look back at the struggle, appreciate it and count it all joy, and 2) Look at life in a different light and me more appreciative in what you have.In this case, I don’t feel that the struggle, test and trial is for you. It’s for us to teach and show us as a whole to be more appreciative of your and what you are doing for us! Because the additional stuff that you have done, you didn’t have to, but you did and in some shape, way, form or fashion, you are still trying to the best of your ability and God is going to honor that!God sees and knows everything that you’re doing and your work is not in vain. You have come too far to turn around now. He didn’t bring you this far to leave you. So hold your head up high and continue to keep that smile on your face. This battle is not your battle, it’s the Lords battle and as a poet stated “Good morning. This is God speaking. I will be fighting all your battles today and I don’t need your help.” Believe it. Receive it. And know all things are possible through Him.I went through a struggle 12-16-07 where I suffered a stroke up here at my desk while assisting a customer and it was my faith through Him that brought me through where I wasn’t deformed in any type of way. So He is a miracle worker. So Tyler don’t fret. Let Him be that miracle worker in your life. I’m praying for you Tyler! Oh by the way Tyler also keep in mind that your work speaks for you. Your work is not in vain. As they say, if you have touched one person then you have done a job well done. And I know it’s more than just myself that has and still do appreciate you.You may feel down but you are not out. I believe in you and what you stand for because regardless of how people feel and what they may say negative or complain about, we are able to pay some type of bills and make ends meet. You have grateful people in the world wishing that they had a job and the ungrateful people that have the jobs that that they don’t appreciate. But as the good book says, “Many are called but few are chosen.”So Mr. Long let your work speak for you. No matter what anyone says. Keep up the good work. Things may be a little rocky but continue to drive through it. Things will smooth out. Continue in your prayer life because where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name, He will be in the midst!
We are grateful our employees realize the enormous impact they have in serving our clients.
I have to tell you, every call gives me an opportunity to offer the possibility for a breakthrough for people young and old who are at their “wits end” because they have lost their ability to provide basic needs for them and their families.I have worked with “at-risk” people all of my life but the calls from men who dropped out of school to help take care of their families at an early age saddens my heart the most.I know you can relate to having an overwhelming sense of powerlessness because last week as you walked through the GED department a young lady asked if anyone noticed how “skinny” you were.Instinctively I replied, in addition to all of the pressures he is under as the company’s President, he is worried about all the employees and their families being okay for the holidays.Unknowingly to others, you walk around with an anointing similar to Jeremiah, the weeping prophet. He was a man chosen by God to be able to feel the internal and external struggles of to others and “quiet as it’s kept”, while others are sleeping, you stay up late at night waiting for answers, guidance and direction from God to show you what you need to do to make sure everyone here has a Merry Christmas and a job to come back to in January. It is clear to me that your stress is not just about the company or your reputation. Although my interaction with you has been limited, vicariously I have come to know you through the eyes of others.Remember the eyes are the windows to our souls. Every one of the people I wrote about unselfishly shared a part of you with me as I perused the canvasses of their hearts during their interviews. They all concurred, you are an extraordinary man with a heart as pure as gold; when it comes to serving others and making sure your employees are cared for. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for your commitment of taking such a stand fort not only us, but our families as well.Especially since the pressures of being the President of a company exceeds the imagination of most and the unemployment rate for Georgia is at an all-time high.Just keep in mind Tyler, you do not have to carry the burden of the Access Group of Companies on your shoulders – God got your back. After all, your footsteps have been ordained and your path may not always be clear to you but God has already paved the way. The challenges all of us are going through forces us to trust and rely on God and the promises outlined in His word even more.Tyler, I made it through 365 days with this company. My employment here has been an enchanting journey allowing me to use some of my gifts, talents, and skills while working on the telephone. I am grateful to be chosen to work here under the guidance and direction of an insightful yet spiritual man, a gifted and talented man, a leaded guided by spiritual principles, and a man chosen, by God, to spread sunshine in the lives of so many others.
